At Fifth Element Arts, we believe that creativity is the heartbeat of culture and the catalyst for change. As a nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through artistic expression, we provide a platform where youth and emerging artists can explore, develop, and showcase their talents.

Rooted in the philosophy that art is the fifth element—a unifying force beyond earth, water, fire, and air—we harness the power of creativity to inspire personal growth, build resilience, and foster cultural connections.

Our mission

Founded in 2023 , Fifth Element Arts is dedicated to empowering artists across all disciplines—including actors, visual artists, writers, filmmakers, and multidisciplinary creatives—by providing resources, education, and opportunities for collaboration. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible arts community where diverse voices, including artists with disabilities, are supported, represented, and celebrated.

We envision a world where every artist, regardless of ability, background, or discipline, has the opportunity to create, perform, and share their work without limitations.

The Fifth Element Foundation is based out of Huntington Beach, CA.

Through mentorship, advocacy, and innovative programming, we strive to break barriers and create equitable opportunities for all artists to thrive. Our after-school programs, camps, workshops, performances, and mentorship initiatives, we create opportunities for artistic exploration in martial arts, visual arts, dance, music, and spoken word.

    Susan handles overall leadership, strategic direction, and management for the organization.

    Brittney works with the CEO and other executives to create strategies that align with the company's goals.

    Secretary

    Mellany manages the general correspondence of the Board of Directors except for such correspondence assigned to others.

    Educational + Program Manager

    Coordinates activities across Fifth Element’s multiple programs

  • Yannick Um Gwet

    Treasurer

    Yannick manages the organization’s financial operations and makes decisions to improve its financial health. 

  • Ambassador Latonia Wallace-Copeland

    Fundraising Officer

    Responsible for raising funds through donations, grants, and events.
